{"id":137,"date":"2026-01-28T14:15:28","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T14:15:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/artforsight.ch\/?page_id=137"},"modified":"2026-02-03T13:34:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-03T13:34:11","slug":"auction-rules","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/artforsight.ch\/de\/auction-rules\/","title":{"rendered":"Auktionsregeln"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ENGLISCH (DEUTSCH SIEHE UNTEN)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1) End of Online Auction<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The online auction ends strictly on March 20 at 12:00 noon (Zurich local time \/ Europe\/Zurich).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online bids submitted after this time will no longer be accepted or considered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2) Online Auction Mechanism (Sealed Maximum Bid)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The online auction is a sealed maximum bid auction: a bidder\u2019s maximum bid is not publicly visible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only the following are displayed publicly:<br>a) the current payable price (\u201cCurrent Bid\u201d), and<br>b) the next minimum bid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3) Current Bid (Payable Price)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The payable price is the higher of:<br>a) 5% above the second-highest bid, or<br>b) CHF 10 above the second-highest bid,<br>but it never exceeds the leading bidder\u2019s maximum bid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The payable price is always rounded up to the next full CHF 10 amount.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4) Next Minimum Bid (Online)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The next minimum bid is not based on the (hidden) maximum bid, but on the current payable price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is the higher of:<br>a) 5% above the current payable price, or<br>b) CHF 10 above the current payable price,<br>but never below the lot\u2019s defined minimum bid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The next minimum bid is always rounded up to the next full CHF 10 amount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bids may only be placed in increments of CHF 10.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5) No Online Bids Yet<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If there are no online bids yet, the system displays the lot\u2019s defined minimum bid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In this case, the next valid bid equals exactly that minimum bid (rounded up to CHF 10).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6) Multiple Bids by the Same Bidder (Online)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If a bidder submits multiple bids for the same lot and is already the leading bidder,<br>their existing maximum bid is updated (not inserted as a new bid), meaning they do not outbid themselves.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reducing one\u2019s own maximum bid is not allowed; it may only be increased.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7) Anonymous Bidding<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bidders may choose whether their name is shown publicly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If bidding anonymously, the public display shows \u201cAnonymous\u201d; the organizer still knows the bidder\u2019s identity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">8) Transition to Physical Auction \/ On-Site Allocation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The payable price determined at the online cut-off (March 20, 12:00 Zurich time)<br>serves as the binding minimum\/starting bid for the physical auction (\u201con-site allocation\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During the physical auction, bids may only be placed in person on site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">9) Binding Effect if No On-Site Bids Are Placed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If no higher bids are placed during the physical auction,<br>the leading online bidder at the online cut-off is obligated<br>to accept the allocation at the determined price and complete the purchase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10) Binding Nature &amp; Reservations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By placing an online bid, the bidder submits a legally binding offer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The organizer reserves the right to correct obvious technical errors and review bids if necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal recourse is excluded to the extent permitted by law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GERMAN (FOR ENGLISH SEE ABOVE)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1) Online-Auktionsschluss<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Die Online-Auktion endet verbindlich am 20.03. um 12:00 Uhr (Z\u00fcrich Ortszeit \/ Europe\/Zurich).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online-Gebote, die nach diesem Zeitpunkt eingehen, werden nicht mehr angenommen oder ber\u00fccksichtigt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2) Auktionsmechanik (Online \u2013 verdecktes H\u00f6chstgebot)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Online wird als verdeckte H\u00f6chstgebotsauktion durchgef\u00fchrt: Das pers\u00f6nliche H\u00f6chstgebot (Maximalgebot) ist nicht \u00f6ffentlich sichtbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00d6ffentlich angezeigt werden ausschlie\u00dflich:<br>a) der aktuell zu zahlende Preis (&#8220;Aktuelles Gebot&#8221;) und<br>b) das n\u00e4chste Mindestgebot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3) Aktuelles Gebot (zu zahlender Preis)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Der zu zahlende Preis ergibt sich aus dem h\u00f6heren der folgenden Betr\u00e4ge:<br>a) 5% \u00fcber dem zweith\u00f6chsten Gebot, oder<br>b) CHF 10 \u00fcber dem zweith\u00f6chsten Gebot,<br>jedoch maximal bis zum H\u00f6chstgebot des f\u00fchrenden Bieters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Der zu zahlende Preis wird stets auf den n\u00e4chsten vollen Betrag von CHF 10 aufgerundet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4) N\u00e4chstes Mindestgebot (Online)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Das n\u00e4chste Mindestgebot richtet sich nicht nach dem (verdeckten) H\u00f6chstgebot, sondern nach dem aktuell zu zahlenden Preis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Es entspricht dem h\u00f6heren der folgenden Betr\u00e4ge:<br>a) 5% \u00fcber dem aktuell zu zahlenden Preis, oder<br>b) CHF 10 \u00fcber dem aktuell zu zahlenden Preis,<br>mindestens jedoch dem definierten Mindestgebot des Lots.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Das n\u00e4chste Mindestgebot wird stets auf den n\u00e4chsten vollen Betrag von CHF 10 aufgerundet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gebote sind ausschlie\u00dflich in Schritten von CHF 10 zul\u00e4ssig.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5) Mindestgebot bei fehlenden Online-Geboten<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gibt es online noch keine Gebote, wird statt eines &#8220;Schritts&#8221; das definierte Mindestgebot des Lots angezeigt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Das n\u00e4chstm\u00f6gliche Gebot entspricht in diesem Fall genau diesem Mindestgebot (auf CHF 10 aufgerundet).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6) Mehrfachgebote desselben Bieters (Online)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gibt ein Bieter mehrere Gebote f\u00fcr dasselbe Lot ab und ist bereits f\u00fchrender Bieter,<br>wird sein bestehendes H\u00f6chstgebot angepasst (Update) und er \u00fcberbietet sich nicht selbst.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eine Reduktion des eigenen H\u00f6chstgebots ist nicht zul\u00e4ssig; es kann nur erh\u00f6ht werden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7) Anonyme Gebote<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bieter k\u00f6nnen w\u00e4hlen, ob ihr Name \u00f6ffentlich angezeigt wird.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bei anonymer Teilnahme wird \u00f6ffentlich &#8220;Anonym&#8221; angezeigt; die Identit\u00e4t bleibt dem Veranstalter bekannt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">8) \u00dcbergang zur physischen Auktion \/ Allokation vor Ort<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Der zum Online-Auktionsschluss (20.03., 12:00 Uhr Z\u00fcrich) ermittelte zu zahlende Preis<br>gilt als verbindliches Mindestgebot\/Startgebot f\u00fcr die physische Auktion (&#8220;Allokation vor Ort&#8221;).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In der physischen Auktion k\u00f6nnen Gebote ausschlie\u00dflich vor Ort abgegeben werden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">9) Verbindlichkeit bei ausbleibenden Vor-Ort-Geboten<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gehen in der physischen Auktion keine h\u00f6heren Gebote ein,<br>ist der zum Online-Auktionsschluss f\u00fchrende Online-Bieter verpflichtet,<br>die Zuteilung zum ermittelten Preis anzunehmen und den Kauf abzuschlie\u00dfen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10) Rechtsverbindlichkeit &amp;
